Mumu Hot Pot is officially open in Torrance at Del Amo Mall, taking over the former Vegas Buffet space. I visited during their soft opening and was excited to finally check it out!

The restaurant is bright, modern, and spacious with plenty of seating. They offer customizable combo sets for one or two people, focusing on a build-your-own hot pot experience. This is not an all-you-can-eat concept — instead, you choose your soup base, protein, sides, and noodles or rice to create your own meal.

There are multiple broth options like tom yum, miso, sukiyaki, and spicy variations, along with premium meat selections and fresh add-ons. I tried the tom yum broth with prime beef short ribs, pumpkin, fried bean curd rolls, and udon — the portions were generous and the flavors were rich and satisfying.

They also have a sauce bar with a variety of dipping sauces to customize your flavors even more.

I love this new addition to the South Bay — it’s a great spot for anyone looking for a clean, flavorful, and elevated hot pot experience.
