Hello and Happy Grand Opening Pho Hue Oi Torrance!

I’m so excited for the newest Pho Hue Oi location here in Torrance! If you’re in the South Bay and craving a warm, flavorful bowl of pho, you’re in for a treat. This is the third location for the family-owned restaurant — their second in the South Bay, alongside their Redondo Beach spot, and their original home in Fountain Valley.

They’ve actually been in soft opening for a few months, but today was the official grand opening celebration! Today was a day full of energy and culture, featuring a vibrant lion dance, an official ribbon cutting with the Torrance City Mayor, and a sweet 15% off grand opening special. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement — and amazing food!

The name Pho Hue Oi is a nod to the family’s roots — they’re from Hue, a beautiful and historic city in central Vietnam, once the imperial capital. “Oi” is a term of endearment in Vietnamese, adding a warm, affectionate touch to the name.

Their menu at Pho Hue Oi offers a comforting mix of Vietnamese classics and customizable options, perfect for both first-timers and longtime pho lovers.

Cha Gio (Vietnamese Egg Rolls)

I can’t resist good Vietnamese egg rolls, and at Pho Hue Oi, theirs are a true chef’s kiss. They’re crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. The filling is savory and well-balanced, with just the right amount of crunch in every bite. A great way to start the meal!

Create-Your-Own Pho

I love that there’s a Create-Your-Own Pho option. I built my bowl with Chín (well-done brisket), Nạm (flank), and Bò Viên (beef meatballs). The broth was rich and aromatic. The base really brought everything together. The brisket was tender and flavorful, soaking up all that goodness. The flank added a slightly beefier bite, while the meatballs were chewy and savory, giving the bowl extra heartiness. It was the kind of comforting, soul-warming pho you dream about on a chilly day — or any day, really.

Whether you’re a longtime pho lover or just discovering Vietnamese cuisine, Pho Hue Oi is full of heart, flavor, and tradition. With deep roots in Hue and a growing presence in SoCal, they’re serving up more than just pho — they’re sharing family heritage, one bowl at a time. There’s nothing like finding a spot that delivers flavor, soul, and smiles all in one visit. Welcome to Torrance, Pho Hue Oi! I’ll be back soon!
