Triple-T in Gardena officially celebrated their grand opening today! They’ve actually been in soft opening since March, but this weekend marks the big launch of their refreshed and renovated space. It’s a really nice concept too! I love that it is part coffee shop, part Vietnamese restaurant and so you get both drinks and hearty savory dishes in one spot.

Being a coffee lover, I was excited to be part of the first 100 guests who were treated to a free egg coffee. Their egg coffee is made with fresh-pulled espresso and milk, then topped with a house-made egg cream. I got that deep, strong coffee kick right away at first sip, but the egg cream softened it into something smooth, creamy, and a little indulgent. This is definitely one of those drinks for those who like bold coffee.

For food, I tried a few of their savory dishes: Hong Kong Style Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings, Garlic Noodle with Shaken Beef, and Roasted Pork with Fried Rice.

The chicken wings came out piping hot with a really crisp, seasoned coating. Flavor-wise they were enjoyable, though they did lean a bit salty for me personall. Regardless, these were still very addictive.

The Garlic Noodle with Shaken Beef was a great dish. The noodles were buttery, garlicky, and super comforting, while the shaken beef had that nice wok-seared flavor and was really soft and tender. It all came together really well.

The Roasted Pork with Fried Rice was another solid dish. The pork was juicy with a nice savory finish, and it paired really well with the fried rice, which had garlic chips throughout that gave it extra flavor and texture. The side salad also helped balance everything out.

Overall, I was really happy I got to visit Triple-T during their grand opening celebration. Happy Grand Opening Triple-T! I’m already looking forward to coming back for more drinks and food next time.
