Torrance’s newest coffee shop is ready for takeoff! ✈️ First Flight Coffee officially opened its doors on August 11 in Torrance, California. The owners both work in aviation, which inspired the theme of this new spot. As someone who loves aerospace and coffee, it was no surprise that I was instantly drawn here. After all, every Hello Foodie Jenn adventure starts with coffee before flights!

For my first visit, I ordered a hazelnut latte, my go-to at any coffee shop. First Flight Coffee really knows how to stick the landing. The latte was smooth, nutty, and perfectly balanced—a first-class sip.

Naturally, I couldn’t resist a little in-flight snacking, so I made a stop at their pastry case. It was stocked like a full runway of options. Since I can never pass up a croissant, the strawberry croissant was an easy choice. And when I spotted their Crookie (the clever cookie + croissant hybrid), I knew I had to take one to go.

The strawberry croissant was buttery and flaky with just the right burst of sweet strawberry filling. It paired perfectly with my hazelnut latte. Talk about smooth flying all the way. The Crookie was another star of the flight path. I loved the crisp croissant base topped with a chewy, cookie-like layer. A fun twist and definitely a must-try!

I’m so glad First Flight Coffee has landed in Torrance. It’s the perfect place to fuel up, sip, and prepare for takeoff into the day. ☕ ✈️
