Hello Nam Kitchen!

Nam Kitchen is where Vietnamese meets Peruvian in the best way! Located in Gardena, California, thus spot offers a unique fusion of two of my favorite cuisines. Seeing them come together on one menu? Yes, please.

I kicked off brunch with their Vietnamese-style chicken wings—crispy, a little spicy, a little sweet. These wings are absolutely addictive.

Next up: the pho. I went with the Pho Dac Biet, which is basically the ultimate combo bowl—filet mignon, beef belly, brisket, beef balls—all in one deep, flavorful broth. The noodles were soft and slurpy (in the best way), and the meats were incredibly tender.

The Garlic Noodles with Ribeye is a dish not to be missed. This one is a beast—a huge plate of garlicky noodles topped with mushrooms, asparagus, green onions, and a full 12 oz ribeye. And let’s not forget the aji sauce on the side (seriously, dip your steak in that). The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavors just worked. It’s comfort food with a bold twist.

The food is awesome, but I definitely recommend trying their drinks too! Two of my favorites are the Pink Petal and the Lychee Peachee. The Pink Petal—made with strawberry purée and coconut milk cream—is not only pretty in pink (my favorite color!) but also perfectly balanced: fruity, slightly creamy, and not overly sweet. The Lychee Peachee is just as refreshing—a jasmine green iced tea shaken with peach purée and topped with fresh lychee. Light, floral, and subtly sweet, it was the perfect contrast to the richness of the meal.

Nam Kitchen is one of those places that just nails it—from the food to the vibe. If you’re into bold flavors, generous portions, and creative fusion dishes that actually make sense, this spot should definitely be on your radar.
