“Be the change you want to see in the world.” Gandhi’s famous words wrap around the cups and even appear on an eye chart-inspired decoration at the newly opened 7 Leaves Cafe in Torrance.
And 7 Leaves Cafe is doing just that—making a change in the world… the boba world, to be exact—and I’m here for it! Originally launched in Orange County, this beloved tea spot has finally made its way to the South Bay.
What sets 7 Leaves apart is their dedication to craftsmanship. Every drink is made from scratch using raw ingredients—chopped, peeled, cooked, stirred, and pressed by hand—to extract pure, real flavors. It’s a labor of love you can truly taste.
As a tea and boba enthusiast, I can confidently say 7 Leaves delivers the quality I’m looking for. My current favorites are the House Coffee and the Mung Bean Tea. The House Coffee is a bold, authentic Vietnamese-style brew enhanced with hazelnut cream, while the Mung Bean Tea combines jasmine tea with mung bean and pandan leaves for a smooth, aromatic experience. Both drinks are true to their names and rich in flavor.
But it’s not just about drinks—7 Leaves also offers tasty treats like macarons and strawberry croissants. I tried the croissant with my drink and loved the buttery, flaky crust and the sweet cream filling that oozed out with every bite.
7 Leaves Cafe is definitely making a positive impact—bringing high-quality ingredients and carefully crafted beverages to the South Bay. I’m thrilled to have them here!
