Back in November of last year, I happily posted about the Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up  that would be opening up soon. I am so happy to announce that the day all of us Hello Kitty Foodies has waited for has finally arrived because, Sanrio is now ready to open up the Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Container!

The Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Container is slated to open to the public on Friday, July 15 at the Giant Wheel Court at the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, CA. There will be grand opening festivities from Friday, July 15 through Sunday, July 17 and as part of the grand opening there will be daily customer giveaways (while supplies last).

The pop-up cafe will be housed within a metal shipping container and there will be bistro tables on the container’s pop out patio. The whole cafe will have a fast casual setting filled with Sanrio cuteness all over.

They will have lots of kawaii exclusive merchandise along with the foodie goodies! I’ve heard Hello Kitty and her friends, My Melody, Keroppi, Little Twin Stars and Chococat will even make appearances at the cafe! I for one am super excited and I know my fellow Hello Kitty foodies are too!

A whole new menu will be debuting at the opening and it will feature the most kawaii and tasty pies, cakes and other sweet treats.

Every treat will of course have Hello Kitty.

Aside from Hello Kitty yummy food, there will be artisanal sodas and specialty coffee drinks brewed using Portola Coffee Lab coffee. An expanded menu featuring with more Sanrio characters and specialty daily tea service will debut later this year.
