Tucked into the Golden Cove Shopping Center in Palos Verdes, Peninsula Tap House is the perfect place to unwind with friends or treat yourself.

I recently visited and enjoyed a fantastic meal on their lovely outdoor patio. With the fresh ocean breeze and sunshine, it was the ideal setup for a little food and drink indulgence.

I started my meal with their Smash Fries. These fries were a total flavor party. Crispy fries, 1K sauce, pickles, pepperoncini, bacon, and grilled onions instantly made me a fan.

Next up was the Ramsay Burger, a monster of a burger with fresh ground chuck, cheddar, bacon, BBQ sauce, arugula, pickled shallots, and balsamic glaze, all on a soft brioche bun. Sweet, smoky, crunchy, and fresh, it had every flavor I could want in a burger.

Even I, someone who usually isn’t all about seafood, was impressed by the Wild Caught Mahi Mahi Tacos. Salsa verde slaw, house-made salsa, and an amazing, fiery cilantro crème made these tacos a standout.

I rounded out my meal with their Espresso Martini. Smooth, silky, coffee-forward, and just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly, having espresso martinis on tap is pure magic.

Peninsula Tap House has it all: chill vibes, amazing food, and drinks you’ll want to sip slowly. I loved every bite and sip and I’m still smiling!
