Hello Gomaichi Ramen Redondo Beach!

As a devoted ramen enthusiast (and self-proclaimed noodle connoisseur), I couldn’t resist checking out the grand opening of Gomaichi Ramen. As the newest addition to Redondo Beach’s food scene, this spot immediately gave off go-to vibes — cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and that unmistakable aroma of simmering broth in the air… yes, please. I also found out they originally had a restaurant in Honolulu, which makes it even more exciting to now have a taste of their ono food right here in the South Bay!

Here at Gomaichi Ramen; they have five different ramens to choose from (Tan Tan Ramen, Sung Hon Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, Tonkotsu Light and Vegetarian Ramen). It was honestly hard to choose but for this first visit; I got the Tan Tan Ramen and my friend got the Tonkotsu Light. (I will definitely be back to try the other ramens though 😉).

Tan Tan Ramen

I have always loved Tan Tan Ramen and the one at Gomaichi Ramen definitely did not dissapointed. Spicy, nutty, and full of umami — this bowl was everything. The broth had a rich sesame depth, balanced perfectly with just the right kick of spice. The noodles were springy, and every slurp left me wanting more. If you’re a fan of bold flavors and a little heat like me, this one’s a must.

Tonkotsu Ramen

Tonkotsu Ramen is always a classic choice at any ramen spot. Here are Gomaichi Ramen it is definitely one you don’t want to miss. It is so comforting. The tonkotsu broth was creamy and has the perfect pork richness you hope for in every good bowl. It was topped with two pieces of tender chashu, a flavorful soft-boiled egg — it’s the kind of ramen that warms your soul.

I’m so excited to have this spot in the neighborhood, and you already know I will be back soon.
