Sunmerry Bakery; a small Asian Bakery in Gardena will soon be launching some new bakery products! I have always been a fan of their delicious baked goods and was truly excited to be able to get a special sneak peak recently of some breads that they will be offering soon. I got to try 18 different offerings and am excited to let you all know some of my favorites.

First on the menu of their new products I got to try was their baguettes! They have five new baguettes that will be coming soon. On the list is Butter Baguette, Garlic Baguette, Soft French Butter Baguette, Soft Baguette with Ice Cream and Jalapeño Cream Cheese Baguette. My favorite was the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Baguette.

I am fan of a little spice in my food and the Jalapeño Cream Cheese baguette definitely gives that fiery flavor that I love. I love how they topped this with two types of cheese; American cheese as well as Swiss cheese. It was perfectly cheesy and spicy!

From baguettes; I also got a sneak peak of some new concha offerings. Conchas are soft and sweet Mexican bread. It was definitely a sweet surprise to see this on the upcoming menu. They have five concha offerings in the work. One the upcoming menu is Chocolate Concha, Ube Taro Concha, Butter Concha with Peanut, Coffee Concha and Guava Concha. It was definitely hard to pick my favorite and I can say I would buy any of these in the future. I do have to give some love to the Ube Taro Concha though.

The Ube Taro Concha had the perfect Ube flavor! There was lots of Ube filling inside too. It is purple heaven with this concha.

Next up on their new offerings is bagels. For bagels they have three bagels planned. On the list is Original Tangzhong Bagel, Blueberry Tangzhong Bagel and Chocolate Tangzhong Bagel. Tangzhong is a Asian bread technique of roux paste of flour cooked in water or milk to over 65C. This technique is to improve the texture of bread. From the bagels; I enjoyed the Blueberry Tangzhong Bagel.

The Blueberry Tangzhong had just the right hint of blueberry thanks to the tasty blueberries embedded in this bagel.

Last but not least on the items coming up are croissants. I love croissants and it’s no secret I have a croissant crush hehe. I was excited to see them have five different croissant concepts that they are looking to launch. The five new croissants are the Almond Croissant, Matcha Croissant, Ham and Cheese Croissant and Chocolate Croissant. Some of these may already be offered at your local Sunmerry Bakery but at Gardena; they are thinking of offering a mini version. My favorite was their Chocolates Croissant.

The Chocolate Croissant was truly a croissant crush at first sight! What is not to love with a flaky, buttery croissant with sweet cream bedded inside and topped off with powdered sugar and chocolate chips. It not only looked scrumptious; it was equally as delicious!

I am super excited for the launch of Sunmerry Bakery’s new products and can’t wait for all of you to be able try them too!
