Bafang Dumpling is now in the South Bay! Bafang Dumpling just had their grand opening this August 11, 2023 at the Gardena Marketplace. This is their fourth location in California. Their other locations are in Temple City, Chino Hills and City of Industry. This new location is at the Gardena Marketplace.

Bafang Dumpling ing’s main speciality is their dumpling and their potstickers. Their dumplings are uniquely shaped like a ancient gold Chinese currency; yuan-bao.

Their potstickers are the crunchy alternative to the dumpling and are rectangular shaped.

Both the dumplings and potstickers come in three flavors: Bafang Signature (Pork and Cabbage), Kimchi and Pork and Corn and Chicken. Aside from being able to get fresh cooked dumplings at the restaurant; one can also get frozen dumplings to take home.

Bafang Dumplings has more than dumplings though! They’ve got plenty of other dishes that you can order to pair with your dumplings or to enjoy solo. Bafang Dumpling also has soup dishes (Corn and Chicken) and noodle dishes (Bafang Signature, Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, Old Fashion Noodle, Sesame Noodle and Spicy Maja Noodle). They also have pork chop as well as various side dishes such as Taiwanese cucumber. Last but not least they have refreshing drinks such as Lemon Black Tea to pair with their savory dishes.

I highly recommend getting one of their combos to be able to try their different dishes. The Gardena location has eight combos and pairings such as dumplings with soup or tea and potstickers with noodles.

My personal favorites from the Grand Opening were the Bafang Signature dumplings and potstickers. Both were perfectly flavored and so delicious! I also quite enjoyed the Corn and Chicken dumplings as well as the Corn and Chicken soup. I love how there were little pieces of corn inside both. The Kimchi and Pork dumpling is also good and perfect for those who like a little spice. I similarly found that the Bafang Signature noodles also has a bit of a kick to it! I definitely spotted some chili oil mixed in with those noodles.

I really enjoyed my first visit to Bafang Dumpling and happy to see them in the South Bay. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try out some of their tea drinks and get more dumplings! Happy Grand Opening Bafang Dumpling Gardena!
