Hello and Happy Grand Opening Dave’s Hot Chicken Torrance! Heat that’ll knock you out has arrived in the South Bay!

Dave’s Hot Chicken first opening up in 2017 in East Hollywood and since then has boomed to be one very hot chicken joint with numerous locations across the US and outside the US with locations in Dubai and Qatar! I am so proud that their latest location is here in Torrance, California.

Today’s South Bay festivities included quite a few distinguished guests that included Torrance Mayor George Chen, Torrance City Council members and the Power 106 Crew. Everyone sure was excited to partake in the hot and tasty chicken!

Dave’s menu consists of 4 main options. These include Dave’s #1 (2 tenders with fries), Dave’s #2 (2 sliders with fries), Dave’s#3 (1 tender + 1 slider wit fries) and Dave’s #4 (1slide with fries). They also have 6 sides on the menu (fries, cheese fries, mac and cheese, kale slaw, single slider, single tender). For drinks they have soft drinks, bottled water, bottled drinks and milkshakes (chocolate, strawberry or vanilla with option top with oreo and m&ms.

I chose to get Dave’s#2 which included 2 Sliders with fries and served with kale slaw, pickles and Dave’s sauce. I also added a side of Kale Slaw along with Strawberry Shake.

Their sliders were definitely a winner with huge pieces of tender chicken inside topped with kale slaw, pickle’s and Dave’s sauce. I got it mild and it already had quite a kick to it. Dave’s Hot Chicken definitely does not mess around with heat ;). They seven levels of heat that range from “no spice” to “reaper.” The reaper is for the oh so hot Carolina Reaper pepper. The spice level of chicken is made with varying levels of Carolina Reaper pepper to enhance the flavors of each tender or slider.

Dave’s Hot Chicken is a nice addition to the South Bay and a great place for every chicken lover. From their tenders to their sliders; there is something for everyone. Oh it’s gettin’ hot in the South Bay!
