Mo-Mo Paradise for my Mommy! Moms deserve the best today and every day! For this Mother’s Day; my mom and I went to dine at one of our favorite places; Mo-Mo Paridise. Ever since their opening in 2017 in Torrance; this place has been our go-to for Japanese shabby shabby cuisine.

I am super happy that this place has opened once again. Same day reservations are not allowed and so I made sure to place a reservation a few days before. They’ve got both outdoor dining as well as limited dining inside. (They do check your temperature before dining at their restaurant).

Previously it was a buffet style setting where customers can get from Mo Mo Paradise’s “garden”. Though diners can no longer get the veggies themselves; it is still an all you can eat experience. The only difference is the Mo Mo team members will bring everything to your table.

We started off our meal with three appetizers: Curry Rice, Buta Shabu Udon Salad and Cabbage Salad. Every thing was delicious. The Curry Rice has always been one of our favorites. We love the thick curry sauce over white rice. The Buta Shabu Udon Salad became a new favorite tonight. They gave lots of beef and noodles. It was so tasty but we definitely had to leave room for hot pot later.

My mom and I definitely enjoyed our shabu shabu hot pot. We throughly enjoyed our beef chuck eye and beef short plate shabu shabu. We loved the variety of vegetables. There was kale, napa cabbage, woodear mushrooms and more! Everything came together for nice hearty and good meal.

Last but not least; Mo-Mo Paradise gave us ice cream. Tonight’s flavors included Rocky Road, Vanilla and Strawberry. It was definitely a sweet ending for a sweet dinner for my mommy!

Mo-Mo Paradise for my mom was a great way to spend Mother’s Day! Only the best for my mommy and Mo-Mo Paradise is definitely one of the best when it comes to hot pot!
