Tuesday, November 29 is a very special day because it the National Day of Giving!

The National Day of Giving is  a global day dedicated to giving back. It happens on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving . On this day of #GivingTuesday, folks around the world come together for one common goal which is to celebrate generosity and to give.

This year, I am so happy because  Sanrio have come together with the Humane Society of the United States for a special project. Through this special collaboration, special limited edition tote bags will be available for sale starting on the National Day of Giving

There are two designs for the tote bags. One features Pompompurin, our favorite golden retriever dog! He’s on the tote bag with his signature brown beret.

The other tote bag has Chococat. Our curious little black cat is super cute in this tote bag!

These totes are perfect for any dog person or a cat person, Sanrio lover or animal advocate!  Everyone can give back with the purchase of these adorable totes at select Sanrio stores, online at http://www.sanrio.com and at Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies retail stores throughout Los Angeles, CA, from November 29 thru January 31, 2017. The tote bags are $30 each and is a great gift that gives back because $6 of each sale goes back to the Humane Society!

Aside from these adorable tote bags, there also is something special coming at The Hello Kitty Cafe on the National Day of Giving. The popular pop-up container at the Irvine Spectrum  will also be giving back in a very special way. The Hello Kitty Cafe has created two special edition Chococat and Pompompurin cookies for the collaboration. The sweet treats will retail for $5, with $1 from each cookie sale going to The Humane Society. These are available exclusively at the Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Container at the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, CA, starting on National Day of Giving through January 31, 2017.

There will also be a special event taking place on Saturday, December 3 in Redondo Beach, California.  In celebration of collaboration of Sanrio and The Humane Society of the United States, Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies in Redondo Beach, will have an all day, in-store event. Chococat and Pompompurin will be there! Guests are invited to bring their pets and take part in activities, photo opportunities and meet and greets with our favorite golden retriever and black cat. Yay to meet and greet with Chococat and Pompompurin and for helping out for a good cause.
