Hello Pretty! Hello Happy!

Hello Kitty’s birthday is coming up soon and she has a very special gift for all of us!

On November 1st, ColourPop x Hello Kitty, a limited edition of cosmetics from Colourpop, a Southern California-based cosmetics will be launching.

I am so excited for the very first collaboration between  Sanrio and ColourPop!  The super kawaii collection takes inspiration from Hello Kitty. ColourPop x Hello Kitty will be offering a full cosmetics collection of make up for the eyes, lips and face. The collection will consist of singles, sets of four eye shadow shades, and a face kit. The face kit pairs three eye shadows, blush, highlighter and ColourPop’s signature ultra matte and ultra gloss lippies. A limited edition makeup bag will also be offered.

Just recently I attended a ColourPop x Hello Kitty launch party  at Pour Vous. Here I got a special sneak peek of the new ColourPop x Hello Kitty lip and cheek collections.

 

One of my favorite items of the collections is their Super Shock Shadow Foursome.

ColourPop offers their long wearing crème powder formula for the eyes Hello Kitty style in assortment of vibrant shades! Each shade has a name with a special link to Hello Kitty. Rainbow is a sheer white with highlights of silver & pink glitter in a glitter sheer finish; Small Gift is mid-tone peachy pink in a pearlized finish. School Bus is deep navy blue in a pearlized finish. Friendship File is warm peachy beige dusted with pink & silver glitter in a metallic finish. These four are offered in the Super Shock Shadow Foursome but can also be purchased as singles.

For sweet pretty lips, Colourpop x Hello Kitty has a ton of offerings!

I am so hello kitty happy with their various glossy, satin, metallic and matte offerings.

Similar to their eye shadows, the lip offerings have super cute Hello Kitty inspired names.

Ultra Glossy Lips is a lip cover that provides extreme shine with no stickiness or tackiness.  Colors include Trinkets, crisp blue/red with soft sparkle in a sheer finish; Arigato, bright hot pink topped with a ton of hot pink glitter in a sheer finish and Supercute!, bright warm pink doused with pink glitter in a sheer finish.

For those looking for a full coverage lipstick, the Lippie Sitck is for you! The Lippie Stix is ColourPop’s signature medium and is a full coverage lipstick that has an extra creamy feel. In this collection is Let’s Play,  a brilliant cranberry lightly dusted with hot pink pearls in a satin luxe finish; Date Mate, a vibrant cool-tone fuchsia in ColourPop’s “matte “ finish;  and Konichiwa, a mid-tone cool blue pink in a crème finish.

From eyes to lips and last but not least for the face, Colourpop has blushes for the perfect finishing touch. Their blushes go on easy with a super silky feel! Blush offerings include  Coin Purse, a bright cool-toned rosy pink blush in a matte finish is the go-to blush in the assortment. The highlighter give a sultry contour in a long-wearing crème formula. School is Fun, is the soft iridescent duo chrome gold highlighter in the offering with a pearlized finish.   Yummy Cookies, a light beige color that is perfect for every day wear.

Hello Kitty truly is the ultimate fashion icon! At the launch party for ColourPop x Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty herself was there to celebrate all this awesomeness! She was dressed up in her best ColourPop outfit and hmm I may have spotted her wearing a bit of Super Shock Shadow as well as Ultra Metallic Lip ;).

Hello Kitty Cafe goodies were also present at the party!

Guests got special treats via their signature cookie in special ColourPop colors.

Along with this, we got to try their famous Mama’s Apple Pie and macarons.

This was perfect along with some Pour Vous speciality cocktails they were offering.  The cocktails had some special ColourPop names.  ColourPoppete anyone?

 

I was so happy to be able to attend the launch party to celebrate this kawaii collection between ColourPop x Hello Kitty! We were even given a special goodie bag with many of items from the cosmetic collection. I loved every thing and am so excited for this to launch officially!
