One beautiful, sunny morning, while strolling around Manhattan Beach with a friend, I discovered Nektar Juice Bar . I took an instant liking to the small and neat juice bar and became an even bigger fan when I learned how the juice bar started. A couple with a passion for healthy living was on the search for the “perfect morning, start your day drink.” In their quest they decided to open up their own juice bar and Nekter Juice Bar was born.

Nekter Juice Bar offers juices, smoothies and aiai bowls. All their offerings are made to order using healthy and natural ingredients. On our trip here, my friend and I both got smoothies. She got a Tropical Cooler smoothie that comes with a purée do spinach, Kale, pineapple, banana, coconut butter and coconut water. I got a Pink Flamingo Smoothie with pitaya, strawberries, pineapple, coconut water and a splash of agave.

I loved the bright and bold colors of their smoothies and my Pink Flamingo smoothie was especially unique in it pretty in pink color. The pink color comes from pitaya, a cactus fruit where dragon fruit comes from. The pitaya mixed with the strawberries, pineapple and coconut water made for one cool and tasty beverage. It is definitely one that I could say would make for a “perfect morning, start your day drink.”

Nekter Juice Bar helped brought some more bliss to an already beautiful beachside morning for me! Their delicious drinks brought out some smiles on this sunny day!
