Last summer, I got to try MeloMelo’s coconut desserts for the first time, and I instantly became a fan of their delicious creations. Fast forward to this fall — I’m so excited that MeloMelo is expanding their menu with a brand-new tea series!

Their new drinks have officially launched at the Sawtelle location, featuring both a Matcha Series and a Milk Tea Series, with three drinks in each. I was lucky enough to try them all recently — and just like their coconut desserts, I’m officially hooked!

🍵 Matcha Series

MeloMelo’s matcha drinks are made with premium matcha, fresh fruit, and real milk — a combination that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.

Matcha Latte

A refreshing classic! This drink has subtle nutty and savory notes that make it smooth and comforting.

Mango Matcha Latte

As a big mango fan, this one was my personal favorite. I loved the sweet mango pieces at the bottom — the mix of fruity mango and grassy matcha is perfectly balanced and incredibly refreshing.

Strawberry Matcha Latte

Another fruity favorite! The sweet strawberry flavors blend so well with the earthy matcha. It’s vibrant, tasty, and super satisfying.

🧋 Milk Tea Series

MeloMelo describes their Milk Tea Series as made with “real tea, real quality, and real health,” and I definitely agree after trying them!

Artisan Jasmine Green Reserve

Made with seven-times-scented jasmine, this milk tea has a delicate floral aroma and smooth green tea flavor. As a green tea lover, I really appreciated its elegant, refreshing taste.

Charcoal Roasted Oolong

I was told this is their best-seller — and I can see why! It’s fruity, toasty, and fragrant with a light smoky hint of wood and dried fruit. A must-try for oolong lovers.

Black Golden Leaf

Another standout! This tea features notes of honey, dried fruit, and florals. It’s bold, rich, and full of character.

Overall, I absolutely loved MeloMelo’s new drink series. While it’s currently available only at the Sawtelle MeloMelo, it’s coming soon to the Irvine location!
