I had the most glow-tastic time at the Yelp Elite Experience at LATHER Long Beach today. From botanical bliss to radiant skin, this pampering sesh was pure spa magic.

LATHER Long Beach is located at the popular shopping center 2nd & PCH. There are only two LATHER locations in California—this one, and another in Old Town Pasadena.

Founded by Emilie Hoyt, LATHER was born from a personal journey: after struggling with migraines triggered by artificial fragrances, Emilie set out to create a line of products that were not only effective but also free of harsh chemicals and synthetic ingredients. Her vision? To offer people a more mindful way to care for their skin—through clean, safe, and sensory-rich products that support both outer beauty and inner balance.

Thanks to today’s incredible Yelp Elite Experience, I had the chance to visit LATHER Long Beach for the very first time—and let me just say, it did not disappoint. I absolutely loved each and every one of the natural products I got to try.

This event was all about self-care and skincare. From the moment I walked into the store, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a peaceful, inviting atmosphere. The whole vibe was calm, clean, and spa-like in the best way.

My mom and I were treated to a personalized facial session that followed a thoughtful, step-by-step process: cleanse, exfoliate, tone, treat, moisturize, and protect. The associate helping us was incredibly kind and knowledgeable—she walked us through each product, shared insights based on a quick skin assessment, and made recommendations that felt truly tailored to our needs.

What really stood out to me was LATHER’s commitment to clean beauty. Their products are free of sulfates and synthetic fragrances—and you can feel the difference. Everything we tried felt light, refreshing, and gentle on the skin.

I left the store glowing (literally and figuratively), feeling so refreshed and grateful for the entire experience. It was one of those rare Sundays that felt both indulgent and nourishing—and I’m so glad I got to share it with my mom.
