I was recently gifted the cutest building sets from Brickcraft featuring some of my favorite Sanrio characters: the Hello Kitty & Cinnamoroll Flower & Vase sets and the Hello Kitty Sushi Bar—and I couldn’t wait to dive in! As an engineer who also happens to be a big foodie and a lover of all things kawaii, these builds brought together so many of my favorite things in the most delightful way.

💐 Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll Flower Vases 

I kicked off my weekend with a calm and creative session building the Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll Flower & Vase sets. Each kit includes a small vase (complete with character-themed stickers) and flower petals and leaves that perfectly match each Sanrio star’s vibe.

The Cinnamoroll set gave me soft sky-blue and lovely lavender floral vibes with a dreamy, airy feel. In contrast, Hello Kitty’s version was bright and bold—just like her iconic red bow. Both sets were simple to build, incredibly satisfying, and now sit on my desk as the cutest little floral accents (no watering required!).

🍣 Hello Kitty Sushi Bar

The next day, I switched gears from floral to foodie with the Hello Kitty Sushi Bar set. As a longtime fan of Japanese food and all things mini, this was a total win. The details packed into this little set were so fun to discover—from colorful sushi pieces to cute chopsticks, it truly felt like building my own kawaii bento scene, piece by piece.

This build was a bit more intricate than the flower sets, but still beginner-friendly and super rewarding. The finished display is so kawaii! I can definitely say this is a must-have for any Sanrio collector, Hello Kitty fan, or just someone who loves a good DIY moment.

Whether you’re an engineer like me or someone who just loves a creative challenge, these Brickcraft sets strike that perfect balance of playful and peaceful. I genuinely enjoyed the quiet time building them and loved how they turned out—functional, decorative, and full of charm.
