Kai Ramen Westchester is currently having their soft opening and I am quite the fan already of this place. The Westchester location is the 8th location of the Kai Ramen shops founded by Chef Nishimura. Other Souther California locations are in Arcadia and Koreatown.

I really love how Kai Westchester Ramen has a huge menu. Their ramen offerings included pork, chicken and vegetable broth. The chicken broth here is a favorite for many including myself. It’s a healthy and flavorful option for sure.

For those who like a traditional type of ramen; I recommend their Chicken Ramen.

The Chicken Ramen is a classic flavorhl ramen with creamy white chicken soup, thick noodle salt base, chicken meat, flavored egg, scallion, baby bok choy and crispy onion.

For those who want to be a bit more adventurous with their ramen. I recommend the Buttercorn Ramen.

Perhaps adventurous might not be the quite the right word but it’s not everyday that one can find a slice of butter in their ramen. The Buttercorn Ramen has a thick slice of butter on top of the creamy chicken white chicken soup. This slice of butter adds even more creaminess this ramen that already has plenty of garlic buttery sauce. Similar to the Chicken Ramen; this Buttercorn Ramen also has thick noodle salt base, chicken meat, flavored egg and scallion. This ramen also comes with lots of corn and broccoli. This ramen is the perfect flavor bomb. It’s definitely my favorite!

Aside from plenty of ramen options; Kai Ramen Westchester has sushi menu as well as an extensive appetizer menu.

From the sushi menu; I got to try their California Roll.

Their version of the California Roll had the right sweetness of imitation crab and creaminess of avocado.

From the appetizer menu; I enjoyed their Sesame Fried Chicken.

The Sesame Fried Chicken was great! I loved the tender chicken that was perfectly golden brown fried. It came with a sweet mustard dipping sauce that paired well with the chicken.

Kai Westchester Ramen has always made the top of my list of favorite ramen shops. I really enjoyed all their offerings here and look forward to being back in the future.
